With over 16 years of experience, I combine Thai, Esalen, Swedish, NMT, and others into a powerful, intuitive, and therapeutic massage experience. My clients have reported less pain, headache relief, better sleep, better mobility, less stress, relief from pre and post sport's events, long lasting relief from the effects of scoliosis, and release of muscular tension after their massages. Some have said that I have "healing hands" and I'm known for my deeper work. It is an honor making people feel better and interacting with the unique world of the human body. I take seriously the trust needed to invite me into your physical healing journey! Because of my love for aromatherapy and aromatic influences on the whole body, I enjoy giving Raindrop massages, a technique that incorporates 8 to 9 different essential oils and blends along the spine points of the feet and spine. Those who've benefited most from Raindrop are those who suffer from severe scoliosis. It provides pain relief and more balance to the bones and muscles of the back. Lastly, I offer Chi Nei Tsang, a type of stomach massage that helps to dismantle knots and tangles that are interfering with the optimum health and movement of organs and to release deeply held emotional experiences. Some of our oldest memories are stored in the abdomen and can block up the flow of lymph, blood, and nerves if not released properly and in a safe and supported environment.
Another unique thing about my practice is that your ambiance is tailored to you! Choose which aromatherapy scents get lightly diffused in the room during your massage (or none at all) and also choose your own music or soundscape.

How to Receive a Great Massage:
~ Before coming, do a mental scan of your body and think about which areas you find tension or discomfort that you can ask for work on
~ Do not wear strong perfumes or colognes that may interfere with the natural scents in the room or those being used in the massage. They also tend to linger on the skin of the therapist and can take awhile to dissipate.
~ Ask for what you want. Don't be afraid to ask the therapist for a switch in pressure, more bolsters or cushions, extra blankets or less if temperature is not what you need on the table. If anything is uncomfortable at all, please speak up.
~ Throughout the massage, do another mental scan, and pay attention to where you might be tensing up. Breathe into that area and let go. In general, it's great to take deep breaths during the massage and helps the process of bringing down tension in the muscles.
~ Be patient with the process. Sometimes it can take up to 30 minutes for the body to relax and switch from the active, sympathetic nervous response, to the more relaxed parasympathetic response.
~ Talking is fine and sometimes can help you feel at ease, but limited conversation can also help the mind to shut down and the body relax.
~ If you are feeling under the weather, let your therapist know. It may be best for both of you if you reschedule your massage.
~ Drink lots of water after the massage, rest, and don't work out.
